On gnome 3 system setting set default sound output to hdmi
update 12/5/3
When I reboot computer, hdmi has no sound. I have to set default to analog output again. Don't know what's wrong with it.
update 12/5/4
I connect hdmi cable from pc to vizio 47 lcd TV, then connect s/pdif optical cable from vizio tv to my pioneer amplifier.
When I watch youtube, the VIZIO TV has sound on it, but no on pioneer amplifier.
I used gnome mplayer to play blu-ray disc, select sound to s/pdif on mplayer. The sound can be heared from amplifier.
update 12/5/7
After lastest yum update, default sound to hdmi cable failed again.
update 12/5/11
Finally I found what's wrong with it. The TV is muted. I though I can hear sound from amplifier when I watch youtube. I unmuted TV, the sound appear again.
